Dear Friends,

This is my last contribution to the newsletter as President. After four years I am handing over the reins to our current Vice President, Chris Towndrow, who so ably stood in for me on many occasions this past year. Thanks Chris and good luck.

This is also the last newsletter to be edited by our good friend Helen Small. Having done the job for a number of years she has decided to pass on the baton to yours truly who will continue to be ably assisted by Neil, Joan and Hugh as well as continuing support from Helen. Many thanks Helen for a job well done .

In the past year we have had two very enjoyable workshops, an open house and a potluck supper all of which were well run and enthusiastically attended. Many thanks to all who helped make these events a success. The Guild also attended a number of outside functions including the Bartholomew Tide Festival at Queenston, the Christmas celebration at Macfarland House, and the ever-popular Wayzgoose at the Grimsby Art Gallery. Again thanks to all of our members who participated.
