Once again the Guild was honoured by being invited to participate in the annual Wayzgoose exhibition and Supper organized by the Grimbsby Art Gallery.
This year the day was dedicated to the memory of Bill Poole, noted local printer, who was a major figure in bringing the Wayzgoose into existence.
The term Wayzgoose is a traditional one give to a feast honouring someone who has just completed their apprenticeship in a Print Shop.
Many of our old friends were there, whilst not as busy as some
years, the Guild were able to provide hand lettered book marks to many of the
patrons of the day.
The magic words they are FREE always did the trick.
Thanks to Val, Barb, Chris and Mike.
