Christmas Potluck Supper
Our meeting at the end of November consisted of a potluck supper held at Scottlea Church. A number of spouses joined us for an enjoyable, and early, celebration of the festive season.
We got into the spirit of the season with carols accompanied by Jim on his violin.
As usual our members excelled with the fine array of goodies to temp our waistlines. Following the meal we had a number of rounds of Scattergories which was greatly enjoyed by all. This in turn was followed by our Card exchange some examples can be seen at the link below.
We even did some calligraphic related work when Neil demonstrated how to clean a very dirty pen using ??? purchased by Chris 'south of the border'.
Thanks to all who put in a special effort to organize the event and especially to Alice and the Congregation of Scottlea for allowing us to use their fine facility once again.
