Hi Everyone

Trust all enjoyed the holiday season and have recovered from all the digging out from our January heavy ice and snow storms. In late January, your Exec. Committee, on the third attempt to beat weather conditions, managed to have a meeting to plan the programmes for the upcoming meetings.

In common with other calligraphy guilds, we endeavour to use our short time together each month to give as broad an exposure to calligraphy and its related skills as possible. We hope you will enjoy them all.

For those of us that can't attend workshops at any time, be assured that those members who do attend will be passing on to the rest of us some of the know-how they learned. Example: A recent Paste Paper workshop in Hamilton was attended by five of our members and they in turn, at the Guild's February meeting, gave a quick demonstration and then the members present that night got busy making attractive paper.

From the feedback received, they thoroughly enjoyed their "playtime" that evening, pleased to have made some interesting papers for future projects….that's just one of the many great things about Calligraphy Guilds, the sharing together.
